Jenny and Quinton had the most magical wedding ceremony on the Playa this year at sunset on Wednesday surrounded (literally) by their friends and a few random Burning Man joiners (that were welcomed with open arms of course). They were married by Shakti Sunfire with words of spiraling paths and danced their vowed to each other in a silent freestyle movement of grace.  I feel so blessed to have witnessed these vows and to continually support these two beautiful people with my heart as they support me in so many ways. Thank you Jenny for giving me the opportunity to make you something to wear that is as beautiful as you are! I love you!!

My first collection Dark Blossoms has been a huge success!

I sold about half of it at Movement Play last month and will be taking the rest of it plus the beginning of my new collection to the SF Mecca Revue on August 7th.  Here are the last pictures from my photo shoot of that collection.  I am so proud of where this collection went and I can’t wait to start my next one which will include lots of coats, belly dancing skirts and even a custom wedding dress!

Look for the jeweled skirt on Jennifer Sevaro and the feather belt on Jenna Luna Anderson. They’ll be on the dance floor somewhere in the Bay Area tearing it up!

As I sit here with my heart full of love and pain at such a changing moment in my life I look to the future and see a life full of creation and sharing of myself.  I’d like to thank Rich once again for not only being my photographer but for being my largest supporter from the beginning and the man who told me that it’s okay to be ONYX.

Everything I’m wearing are pieces from Onyx’s Closet.  I use about 80% recycled materials and each piece is a ONE OF A KIND piece of art that comes with a whole lot of Onyx-love. The next place I’ll be vending is at the SF Mecca Revue which should be an amazing event since it’s thrown by the amazing Miss Rosie!

I’d also like to thank a million people (okay more like 8-10) but for this post I’d like to thank Susan Lee (who’s an amazing breath-work teacher by the way) for being the perfect owner of this amazing top.

I’m now on the road to focusing on jackets until Burning Man. Everyone wants one for Burning Man because as I jokingly call it a Couture Snuggy, it is extremely warm, comfortable, soft and as you can see, pretty fashionable.  I do have to admit that I notice all the heads turning as I walk by and they’re all looking at that back white ruffles which are surprising because of the contrast to the deep black and simply the sheer unexpectedness.  I have two custom orders already and I’m really excited!  I’ve never done custom orders before so depending on how these two go, I might make them all custom or decide to make them as I do my other clothing (each as a piece of art that comes to me organically).

This is the first one I made for myself.  As always, there’s more to come…

So I’ve finally got some shots of the feather pieces I’ve been working on lately!  They all have clips on the back and are meant to be worn any way you want. I love to wear them on belts, skirts, or pants… on the hip, lower back, the back of the neck, or on a necklace…
